Total trade for the month of March 2024 was BND2,258.2 million, comprising exports valued at BND1,402.4 million and imports amounting to BND855.8 million. This represented an increase of 55.0 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) from BND1,456.9 million in February 2023.
The trade balance also recorded an increase of 12.0 per cent to BND546.6 million (March 2024) from BND487.9 million in March 2023.
On a month-on-month (m-o-m) basis, total trade recorded a decrease of 6.1 per cent from BND2405.5million (February 2024) to BND2,258.2 million in March 2024.
